Moonshotkidz
Moonshot Kidz is a hands-on STEM and maker-space toolkit designed to help children explore mechanics, electronics, and creative engineering through open-ended building challenges.
Kids use sensors, motors, circuits, and craft materials to design and build their own inventions — learning:
⚙️ Mechanical Engineering Basics
Children experiment with gears, structures, balance, and motion as they build their creations.
🔌 Intro to Electronics
Through simple circuits, switches, LEDs, and motors, kids learn how electricity powers real-world machines.
💡 Creative Problem-Solving
Each challenge encourages children to imagine, design, test, and refine — learning how innovators think.
🧠 Design Thinking
Kids identify problems, brainstorm ideas, prototype quickly, and iterate — key skills for future creators.
🔁 Resilience Through Iteration
Projects rarely work on the first try — and that’s the point. Kids learn persistence and confidence by improving their designs through trial and error.
🤝 Collaboration & Communication
Children work in teams to build, test, and present their inventions, strengthening teamwork and presentation skills.
🛠️ Understanding How Machines Work
By breaking down and building up simple machines, kids develop real-world “machine sense” — the foundation for machine literacy.
Moonshot Kidz turns curiosity into creativity, giving children the tools (literally!) to understand and shape the technology-filled world around them.
